Snakes Enter The House With Floods

Hyderabad, July 25 (Hydnow): Another sad news for the people of Hyderabad who are living in fear of the rains and floods caused by them. As ponds, reservoirs, and lakes are overflowing due to heavy rains, colonies and low-lying areas in the suburbs of the city are getting submerged. As heavy foods are entering the houses, it seems that snakes are also coming into the houses in those floods.

The reports of snakes in the floods coming into many houses, companies, and factories on the outskirts of Hyderabad city. The Friends of Snakes Society has been receiving a large number of complaints about snakes coming into their houses along with floods. Members of the Friends of Snakes Society have rescued several snakes in the past five days. These include cobras, rattlesnakes, and checkered keelbacks, which are venomous said members of the Friends of Snakes Society.

The members of the Friends of Snakes Society said that the snakes that enter the houses along with the floods hide in the open places in the house compound, it is suggested that they hide in the middle of pits, in the middle of firewood, indoors, in the sand, in the sild. It is warned that the doors should be closed during floods.

The Friends of Snakes Society receives around 300 calls a day. “After receiving a call local volunteers are dispatched to the spot. But in Hyderabad, most of the calls are coming from Biranguda, Nizampet, Kukatpally, Shaikpet, Dommaiguda, Lingampally, Patancheru, Hayatnagar, Vanasthalipuram, LB Nagar, nagol, Attapur, Rayadurgam and Rampally areas. The society has around 150 volunteers who have captured and released 178 snakes in the forest areas so far in the last three days. About half of these are poisonous. (Hydnow)
