Hyderabad: The roads on defence land in the Secunderabad Military Station will be closed temporarily due to high security alert ahead of Independence Day from August 13 midnight till 6 am on August 16.
In view of the Orange Alert for security from August 13 to 17, highest level of vigilance and alert is being maintained in the military station here, according to an official press release. As per the alert for heightened security on the eve of Independence Day, the vigilance is at highest level for any suspicious activity with adequate traffic and movement control measures in the military station.
All preparations for safe conduct of Independence Day celebrations are being undertaken and comprehensive security measures were being instituted. The Military authorities have welcomed the willing co-operation and support from the citizens, the release said.
