Secretariat Demolition Should Be Done Under NMDC: Revanth Reddy

Hyderabad, July 18 (Hydnow): Congress Party MP A. Revanth Reddy said state government to carry out demolition works of existing state secretariat buildings under the supervision of the Archaeology department of state and NMDC. He also demanded the state government to allow media inside the building complex to cover the demolition works while noting that the demolition process is not being videographed by the authorities.

Speaking to media persons, he also demanded the state government to remove the close relative of CM KCR and IAS officer Raghunandan rao from the post of archaeology department. Referring to the news reports of some English papers about the rule of the sixth Nizam from the G-block of the state secretariats, he reiterated his doubts that there might a huge amount of hidden treasure beneath the G-block and the tunnel routes that lead to different places of the state capital From the block. He said that the then Chief Minister of the State Marri Channa Reddy Hedge the Union government to hold excavation under the secretariat buildings. Targeting ruling TRS and opposition BJP he said that the congress party would not find any difference between the two parties. He said that both the state and central governments were working together in the Telangana state.
