Hyderabad, June 22 (Hydnow): Agriculture Minister S Niranjan Reddy today said that the government provides Rythu Bandhu financial support for farmers in a speedy manner.
On Tuesday 651.07 crore into accounts of the 2.10 lakh farmers for 13.02 lakh acres he said. So far 133.27 lakh acres got Rythu Bandhu financial support in the state as promised. Rest will get by June 25 by banks and the farmers can avail of the facility.
The bankers were asked not to recover thus amount for loan amount already taken he clarified. So far the Government gave Rs 6663.79 Cr to help 59.71 lakh farmers he claimed. As per Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao instructions we provide financial assistance to the farmers for Kharif season, he said.

The minister said that the government offers this help from June 15 to 25. Niranjan Reddy said that we earmarked Rs 7300 crore to help about 65 lakhs of farmers in Telangana he said. We made necessary arrangements for crops this season for 18.88 lakh acres to be sown including 14.82 lakh acres cotton and 1.58 lakh acres red gram. We kept fertilizers stocks 8.64 lakh Mt including 4.41 lakh Mt urea he added. (Hydnow)
