Hyderabad, Dec 14 (Hydnow): Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has directed the officials to form a special committee to formulate guidelines for the permanent settlement of land-related disputes in Telangana state.
In a review meeting held at the Secretariat on the controversial Dharani Portal performance and land-related issues in the state, Deputy Chief Minister, Bhatti Vikramarka, Medical, Health and Science and Technology Minister Damodara Raja Narasimha, Revenue, Housing, Information Minster Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, chief Secretary Shanti Kumari, Chief Secretary of Revenue Naveen Mittal other high officials and public representatives were present.
The Chief Minister has suggested that this committee should be formed similar to the Koneru Ranga Rao committee. the proposals of this committee should be suggested to get a permanent solution to the land-related disputes. In addition to the ministers, senior officials of the revenue department, farmers representatives and experts in land-related laws should be members of this committee.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy directed the Chief Secretary to submit a detailed report on the decisions taken since the beginning of Dharani. CMO officers Shivdhar Reddy, Seshadri, and Shah Nawaz Qasim participated in this meeting, while Mahabubnagar MLA Yennam Srinivas Reddy, farmers representatives Kodanda Reddy, Vem Narender Reddy and representatives of Sampath Kumar Revenue Association were present and expressed their views.
