Hyderabad, June 13 (Hydnow): Congress Party MP A. Revanth Reddy extended support to fasting agitation program being held by journalists of state demanding state government to extend support to them. He said that the protest program by the journalists would actually mean that the state government had failed to solve their problems.
He said that there was a need for the state government to come forward and extend support to the journalists of the state. He said that the income of the state government had gone up by ₹15,000 crore. Referring to the claims of the state government that it is spending ₹3.5 lakh on each corona positive patient, he asked the state government as to how much it spent on the treatment of the journalist Manoj who died due to corona virus at Gandhi hospital recently . He alleged that the state government had not conducted even 50000 Covid 19 detection tests so far. He mocked that the MLA of ruling TRS Party was undergoing treatment for the Covid 19 virus at Yashoda hospital instead of the Gandhi Hospital.
He alleged that CM KCR was removing state health minister Etela Rajender from his post next week and added that the CM had brought the state to an extreme point to accomplish his act of removing Etela Rajender. Revanth handed over ₹2 lakh for the journalists relief fund on the occasion. (Hydnow)
