The Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) has postponed the reopening of all junior colleges until further orders. A fresh date will be intimated in the due course of time.

As per the annual academic calendar, all the junior colleges were to open for the academic year 2020-21 on June 1.

Meanwhile, the BIE will conduct intermediate second-year Geography Paper-II and Modern Languages Paper-II exam on June 3 from 9 am to 12 noon at the centres as per schedule notified earlier. Students concerned can download their hall tickers from the website https://tsbie.cgg.gov.in.

BIE secretary Syed Omer Jaleel said students who are unable to attend the Geography paper-II and Modern Languages Paper-II on June 3 due to the Covid-19 pandemic or lack of transportation or any other reason will be allowed to write the advanced supplementary examinations which will be conducted tentatively in the third week of July. These students will be treated as regular candidates, he added.
