Tirumala, June 27 (Hydnow): Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said he prayed Lord Venkateswara for the security of the Nation and prosperity of the people of the country.
The Head of the State of MP had darshan along with his family on Saturday in Tirumala. After Darshan of Lord, he was offered Vedasirvachanam by pundits at Ranganayakula Mandapam. TTD EO Anil Kumar Singhal and Additional EO AV Dharma Reddy presented Theertha Prasadams and Laminated photo of Lord. CVSO Gopinath Jatti was also present.
Later Shivraj Singh also participated in Sundarakanda Pathanam programme at Nadaneerajanam Mandapam in Tirumala. Then he offered Coconuts at Akhilandam and fulfilled his wish.
Speaking to media later he said, the entire country is going through a tough time right now with the increasing Corona cases on one hand and tensions at Border. “Today I prayed Lord Venkateswara to bestow His benign blessings and protect the nation from the clutches of Corona Virus and from tensions prevailing at Border. Complimenting Sundarakanda Pathanam programme mulled by TTD, he said, I feel it as a privilege to take part in Sundarakanda Pathanamthis. It will definitely provide a solution to all our problems”, he asserted. (Hydnow)
