Amaravati, Dec.2 (Hydnow): State Minister Buggana Rajendranath Reddy today said that the Polavaram project was the lifeline of the state. He made these remarks while addressing the house on the issue of the project.
Speaking on the occasion, he alleged that opposition leader Nara Chandrababu Naidu had raised the issue of pattiseema to gain political mileage. He alleged that Naidu had spent additional amount of funds for the construction of the Patti Seema project. On the other hand, state irrigation minister Anil Kumar Yadav said that the opposition party leaders were carrying out misinformation campaign by claiming that the state government was reducing the height of the project. He made it clear that the height of the project wouldn’t be reduced at any cost.
He told the house that they were going ahead by correcting the mistakes made by Naidu’s government for the construction of the project. He said that the chief minister of the state YS Jaganmohan Reddy had already written a letter to the PM of the country Narendra Modi on the construction of the project. He said that they had already presented arguments on the project before the central apex authority. He said that the state government would complete the project by December 2021 at any cost. (Hydnow)
