PM Laid Foundation For The Redevelopment Of 21 Railway Stations In Telangana, 18 In AP

Delhi/Hyderabad, Aug 6 (Hydnow): Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the Center is giving high priority to the expansion of the Railway networkModi has virtually laid the foundation stone for the redevelopment of 508 railway stations in the country with funds of Rs. 25 thousand crores under the Amrit Bharat scheme.  He opined that today is a day that will go down in the history of the railway sector of the country.

Modi said that better infrastructure has been provided in railways.  It was revealed that more funds have been allocated to the Railway Department in this year’s budget.  Modi said that Railways is being developed for the common man.  He said that the railway lines have been expanded for the last 9 years, under the Amrit Bharat Scheme.

the 21 Stations in Telangana are being redeveloped with an estimated cost of Rs. 894.09 crores and 18 stations in AP with Rs. 453.50 crores will be developed.

The railway stations that will be developed in the first phase in Telangana are Adlabad, Bhadrachalam Road, Hafizpet, Hitech City, Upuguda, Hyderabad, Janagaon, Kamareddy, Karimnagar, Kazipet, Khammam, Madhira, Mahbubnagar, Mabhubabad, Malakpet, Malkajgiri, Nizamabad, Ramagundam, Tandur, Yadadri (Raigir), Zaheerabad.

In Andhra Pradesh, Palasa, vizianagaram Anakapalli, Duvwada, Bhimavaram, Narasapuram, Tadepalligudem, Nidadavolu, Tenali, Raypalle, Piduguralla, Kurnool, kakinada town, eluru, tuni, Ongolu, singarayakonda, Donakonda. (Hydnow)
