Hyderabad, Sept.28 (Hydnow): The Telangana High Court today asked the state government to pay compensation to farmers, who had incurred losses due to untimely rains of the last year.
It issued these Orders while dealing with a petition filed by Rythu Swarajya Vedika Organization.
The counsel for the petitioner told the HC that the farmers had sustained huge losses due to the heavy Rains of the last year.
He also told the HC that some farmers had even committed suicides. He said that the state government had sought ₹500 crore Financial assistance from the central government.
After Hearing the arguments, the HC asked the state government to Pay the compensation to the farmers, who sustained losses in the month of September and October last year. (Hydnow)
