Hyderabad, Dec.14 (Hydnow): BJP national vice president DK Aruna today criticised the opposition parties for crying foul on new farm laws and supporting the farmers on protest.
They are politicizing farmers protest and confusing the farmers she charged.
Talking to press persons in Mahabub Nagar, the BJP leader accused the opposition parties including the TRS in Telangana of coming in the way of farm laws. The farm laws will ensure MSP and not cause losses to the farming community in the country, Aruna said.
The BJP leader slammed the TRS regime for state wide protest in support of Bharat Bandh by farmers. Only ministers and TRS leaders joined the protests and middle men while the farmers did not participate in our state.
The centre under Narendra Modi leadership is for welfare of the farmers and development and the laws are aimed to protect farmers interests. She hit out at Telangana government for failing to purchase fine quality rice for Rs 2500 a quintal.
Chief Minister, K Chandrasekhar Rao has asked the farmers to cultivate fine rice and now not procuring the same, she charged. The BJP leader suggested the opposition parties to give suitable suggestions for the cause of the farmers instead of provoking them. The opposition leaders should refrain from misleading the farmers for politics, Aruna added. (Hydnow)
