Hyderabad, June 5 (Hydnow): Promoting concept of Recycling, that too when we are celebrating the World Environment Day-2020 with the Theme: Celebrate Biodiversity, there could be no better day to inaugurate Plastic Bottle Crushing Machine at Ramagundam Railway Station. Similar one machine also installed at Mancherial Railway Station. Sponsored under CSR-CD fund of NTPC-Ramagundam, each machine costs Rs. 1.50 lakh.
Inaugurating the new facility at Ramagundam Railway Station on June 05, 2020, Mallela Srikant, IRTS-Area Officer, Ramagundam, SCR appreciated NTPC-Ramagundam for their concern for environment. This facility will help recycle the plastic bottles generated from the station and help maintain the environment clean.
Speaking on the occasion, Rafiqul Islam, AGM (HR-CSR) reiterated NTPC’s commitment for green and clean environment. Officials from NTPC and Railways were present on the occasion.(Hydnow)
