Hyderabad, Oct.12 (Hydnow): Power Minister G Jagadish Reddy today asserted that there would be no power supply, production and generation in the state.

The Centre should not try to take over the rights of the states on power requirements and stop dictating terms.
He informed media persons here that the Centre may create some problems like power shortage, supply and generation problems.
Jagadish Reddy stated that the media hype on power problems at national level was created by the Centre.
The Centre should not involve the states to produce power, he said.
The minister claimed that Telangana has abundant coal resources and power generation to meet our needs.
As per chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao directions the state power department took measures to avoid any power cuts in future.
He said that the state is able to supply to its demand of 16000 mw a day.
We are ready to tackle any situation and the state would not suffer any power problems, he maintained.
The Centre should give reply to power issues, he said.
We have taken all measures and formed a circuit to the hassle free supply of power to Hyderabad and other districts, Jagadish Reddy said.
