Hyderabad, Aug 15 (Hydnow): Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao has announced that a new scheme called ‘Telangana Cheneta Maggam‘ will be introduced, Through this, frame looms will be provided in place of sock looms.
Addressing the gathering at Golconda Fort, today, the Chief Minister said that the government has already focused on solving the problems of weavers and has implemented many welfare schemes for the handloom weavers, it has been revealed that they are helping Netanna by providing a 50 percent subsidy on yarn chemicals. he said that Rs. 5 lakh insurance is being provided to the leaders without any burden of money.
KCR said that the government has taken measures to strengthen the rural economic system like the distribution of sheep to Golla Kurmas on a large scale and fish farming for fishermen. He said that the tax on palm trees has been canceled for Geetha workers and old arrears have been waived. It has been revealed that a 15 percent reservation is being implemented for the Gowda brothers in the licenses of liquor shops. He said that in the style of farmer’s insurance, Rs. 5 lakh insurance has been provided to Geetannas without the burden of paisa. (Hydnow)
