MP Revanth Demands Center’s Inquiry In GHMC Flood Relief Issue

Hyderabad, Nov.16 (Hydnow): Alleging wide spread irregularities by ruling TRS party leaders in the distribution of flood relief in the state capital, Congress party MP A. Revanth Reddy today demanded the central government to order an inquiry in the distribution of flood relief in GHMC limits. He alleged that the ruling party leaders had siphoned off all the flood relief, which was meant for the real victims from the state capital.

He also alleged that the flood relief amount was not being credited into the bank accounts of the victims. He reminded the people of the state Prime Minister Narendra Modi had opened jan dhan accounts and credited ₹1500 in the same accounts during the national lockdown. He asked the state government as to why it was not depositing the relief money in the bank accounts of the victims. He claimed that the ruling party leaders had looted ₹500 crore in the name of the flood relief.

He alleged that the ruling TRS party was distributing the flood relief directly to the victims by eying the upcoming GHMC elections. Targeting rival BJP leaders Bandi Sanjay and G. Kishan Reddy , he asked the two leaders from whom they were seeking inquiry. He asked the two BJP leaders to seek inquiry into their allegations with the help of their central government owned agencies.

He alleged that there was a hidden understanding between state minister KTR and Union Minister of Home Affairs G. Kishan Reddy. He claimed that BJP leaders Kishan Reddy, Laxman, Raja Singh, Chintala Ramachandra reddy met with CM KCR at pragathi bhavan after the issuance of election notification for assembly elections in 2018 and reminded that the the BJP leaders had told the media persons that they had met with the CM urging him to install the statue of former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee. He asked the BJP leaders as to why they didn’t install the statue so far. (Hydnow)
