Hyderabad, May 25 (Hydnow): The Congress Party MP from Bhongir Seat K. Venkat Reddy today approached the Telangana high court and urged it to issue orders to the state government to take over all the private hospitals of the state and extend treatment to all ailing Covid virus patients.
In his petition he also urged the HC to issue orders to the state government to bear the cost of the treatment of the Covid virus in private hospitals by the state government. He told the HC that Telangana government was not taking steps to control the Covid virus like various states of the country like Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu. He said that the people of the state were forced to approach the private hospitals as the government hospitals of the state don’t have proper infrastructure to treat the Covid patients. (Hydnow)
