Hyderabad, Oct.8 (Hydnow): The Monsoon Legislative Assembly was adjourned sine die after seven working days and passing seven bills.
The house unanimously passed a resolution for Backward Class (BC) census 2021, as it ran for 37 hours and five minutes.
The house conducted a brief discussion on six different issues pertaining to development and welfare.
In total 41 members of all the political parties including TRS, AIMIM, Congress, and BJP in the house spoke on various issues.
The Monsoon Session which began on Sept 24 conducted the business in a smooth manner that focused on the key issues.
The Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy adjourned the house “Sine Die” after conducting it on the last day of Friday.
The Speaker began the house that held brief discussion on welfare. Leader of the house and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has replied to queries and clarifications sought by the members from the congress, BJP, AIMIM and the TRS party.
The Chief Minister informed the Assembly that the government would continue welfare schemes in the state.
With cooperation of all the political parties the state being a welfare state is going ahead on a growth path, he remarked.
Congress legislature party leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, BJP leader Raja Singh, AIMIM leader Akbaruddin Owaisi urged the house and the government to address different issues as part of welfare and development programs in the city and the state.
Also Chairman Bhupal Reddy adjourned the Council after Municipal Minister KT Rama Rao giving reply to queries of the members on welfare and development programs as well. (Hydnow)
