Hyderabad, Sept.24 (Hydnow):The Eighth session of Telangana State Assembly and Council of Monsoon began in the city today. The Speaker of the house Pocharam Srinivas Reddy introduced a motion for paying tributes to all former MLAs, who have lost their life in recent Times.
The speaker read out the names of the deceased MLAs in the house and paid tributes to them. The names of these MLAs are Kunja Bujji, Azmeera Chandulal, Ketiri Sai Reddy, Kunja Biksham, Meneni Satyanarayana Rao, Macharla Jagannatham, Rajayyagari Mutyam Reddy, Boggarapu Seetharamaiah and Chekuri Kashaiah, The house was later adjourned for the day after the adoption of the motion of condolences.
On the other hand, pro-tem Chairman, Bhupal Reddy introduced the motion of condolences in the legislative council. It was adjourned for the day later.

The Assembly session was convened after six months of the budget session of the house. The state government is planning to table bills related to the Dalith Bandhu scheme and several other schemes in the house.
On the other hand, the opposition political parties are getting ready to corner the state government on issues like unemployment wage, three acres land to the Dalits of the state and other promises made by the TRS led state government. The authorities have made all arrangements to ensure Covid-19 protocols are followed on Assembly premises. (Hydnow)
