Delhi/Hyderabad, Nov 4 (Hydnow): Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that he is “deeply saddened” by the loss of lives and damage caused by the earthquake in Nepal. PM Modi offered support to Nepal and expressed India’s willingness to extend all possible assistance.
Taking to X, PM Modi stated, “Deeply saddened by the loss of lives and damage due to the earthquake in Nepal. India stands in solidarity with the people of Nepal and is ready to extend all possible assistance. Our thoughts are with the bereaved families and we wish the injured a quick recovery.
PM Modi’s statement comes after 128 people died and at least 141 people were injured after a strong earthquake of 6.4 magnitude jolted Nepal in the late hours of Friday. The Kathmandu Post reported. Nepal Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda‘ has left for earthquake-affected areas. (Hydnow)
