Delhi/Hyderabad, April 6 (Hydnow): BRS MLC K. Kavitha has filed a petition in the Rouse Avenue Court opposing the CBI interrogation in the Delhi Liquor Scam case.  

Kavitha’s lawyer said that CBI did not provide the application.  He asked the court to conduct an inquiry into the questioning by the CBI of Kavitha. 

The Court said that they will tell later when the hearing will be held on Kavitha’s petition. Meanwhile, the CBI has been asked to file a counter to the petition filed by Kavitha.

CBI asked the court for time for counter-filings on Kavitha’s petition.  The CBI counsel asked the court to tell under which rules the application was filed.  He said that the answer should be given to the satisfaction of the court. 

In this order, the court has given time to the CBI till the 10th of this month for counter-filings on Kavitha’s petition.  The Judge said that the next hearing will be held on the 10th of this month. 

CBI gave an unexpected shock to MLC Kavitha, who was hoping for bail in the liquor scam case.  The CBI filed a petition in the Rouse Avenue court seeking permission to interrogate Kavitha in the liquor scam case.

However, the court accepted the petition filed by the CBI and allowed the CBI to interrogate Kavitha. 

CBI will interrogate MLC Kavitha in Tihar Jail next week in the presence of a woman constable. 

CBI will record Kavitha’s statement. Rouse Avenue court allowed CBI to take laptops and stationery into the jail.

The court directed the CBI to inform the jail authorities a day before the trial.  (Hydnow)
