Amaravati, Sept.26 (Hydnow): AP Cabinet Ministers Botsa Satyanarayana and Anil Kumar Yadav slammed the comments made by actor turned politician and the founder president of Jana Sena Party (JSP) Pawan Kalyan against the state government over the sale of movie tickets online.
They said that the comments made by Pawan were far from the truth and made it clear that the state government had introduced the method to streamline the process of collection of GST on tickets. They wondered if the state government would keep mum when the theatre managements increased the ticket rates in an unprecedented manner.
They made it clear that the distributors of the movies had urged the state government to introduce the online ticket mechanism. They asked Pawan to bring any issue to the notice of the state government instead of making baseless allegations against it. They also said that the veterans of the film industry like Chiranjeevi and Mohan Babu could approach them if they have any problems with the online ticket mechanism.(Hydnow)
