After the lockdown 2.0 announcement was made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday morning, migrant labourers in Hyderabad tried marching to their native places keeping the administration busy overnight.
Around 50 migrant workers of Madhya Pradesh, who work on a daily wage basis in Hyderabad decided to go to their native places of Madhya Pradesh in a truck on Tuesday night.
The police stopped the truck at the Rethibowli area and after counselling, the workers were shifted to their respective shelters in the city. The administration assured them all necessary financial help and ration supply.

Earlier, on Tuesday several migrant workers were heading home in Srikakulam of Andhra Pradesh.
Telangana government has identified 34,000 migrant workers in Greater Hyderabad Municipal corporation area and distributing them essential 12 kg rice and Rs 500 each.
Meanwhile, Telangana Municipal and urban development Minister KTR visited the temporary shelters arranged for the migrant construction workers at a campsite at Sumadura Developers in Gachibowli of Hyderabad.

The minister interacted with the workers and enquired about their food facilities and ration availability. He also enquired the workers about their health and asked them to take all the precautionary measures to fight coronavirus.
The temporary shelter presently houses about 400 migrant workers from Orissa, Bihar, Bengal and other states.
