Hyderabad, May 14 (Hydnow): As the polling process has ended in Telugu states. The city residents who went to their hometowns to vote in the elections returned to Hyderabad.
They reached the city at dawn on Tuesday in trains, RTC buses, and private vehicles. Due to this traffic continues on the national highway from Vijayawada to Hyderabad.
Kilometers of vehicles were seen in many places. Also, there is congestion at Secunderabad Railway Station, Jubilee Bus Station, and Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station. As people who have reached the suburbs of Hyderabad are resorting to the metro to reach different parts of the city from there, the metro trains are also getting crowded.
Metro premises became crowded with commuters. The LB Nagar-Miyapur route has suddenly become crowded as passengers coming from the Vijayawada side get off at LB Nagar and Board the metro. There is a big queue for tickets at B Nagar metro station.
Keeping in mind the rush of passengers, the metro services started half an hour earlier this morning at 5.30 am. Moreover, it is known that the metro has decided to run additional trips today keeping in view the rush of passengers. (Hydnow)
