Karimnagar/Hyderabad, Oct 25 (Hydnow) A massive fire broke out at Ramagundam thermal Power Station in Peddapally district on Tuesday (October 24). First, a fire broke out in the control room of the power station, after that, it spread on a large scale.
the extent of property damage caused by the massive fire is under investigation. Everyone breathed a sigh of relief as there was no loss of life in the incident.
TSGENCO has decided to suspend operations due to fire. TSGENCO officials are yet to make an official statement on the actual cause of the fire. It was initially found that the accident was caused by a short circuit. The coal-fired power plant is operated by the Telangana State Power Generation Corporation Limited (TSGENCO). (Hydnow)
