Mallikarjuna Kharge Slams PM Modi

Hyderabad, Sept.3 (Hydnow): Congress party floor leader Mallikarjuna Kharge slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi and alleged that the union government led by Modi was selling away the national assets for mobilising ₹6 lakh crore funds . He made it clear that the move of the Modi government would not help the common people of the country in any manner .

He alleged that the PM had already sold off ₹3.5 lakh worth national assets so far. He reminded the people of the country that the first prime Minister of the country Jawaharlal Nehru had set up public sector companies to improve its economic condition of the country. He said that Nehru thought the encouragement of public and private sector companies would help the country to achieve composite economic growth . He did that 35 lakh people were employed in the public sector companies of the country. He expressed his anger that the BJP led central government was selling away all the public sector undertakings from banking, railways and insurance sector of the country.

He expressed his concern that the selling away of the public sector companies would bring to an end the benefits of reservations to the different sections of the country. He reminded that although the then prime minister of the country PV Narasimha Rao he invited FDIs into the country in the year 1991, he never troubled the public sector of the country. (Hydnow)
