Delhi/Hyderabad, Dec 18 (Hydnow): The National Center for Seismology (NCS) said that a magnitude 5.5 earthquake struck the Kargil region of Ladakh on Monday. The earthquake occurred at 3.48 PM. This caused tremors in parts of North India and Pakistan. As a result, the people of those areas ran out of their houses.
The National Center for Seismology said that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 km. Information is being received that the rescue teams have reached the place after receiving the information. More details about casualties or property damage are awaited. (Hydnow)
