List Of Telangana Voters Has Been Prepaid In A Transport Manner: CEC Rajiv Kumar 

Hyderabad, Oct 5 (Hydnow): The Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar said that the list of the Telangana voters has been prepared in a transparent manner.  The voters’ names were deleted only after receiving the form.  He clarified that votes were not removed unilaterally.  He said that 8.11 lakh new voters have been registered in Telangana. 

Speaking to the media persons, today, Rajiv Kumar said that he had a meeting with the representatives of all the parties and also with the enforcement agencies.  The parties have asked to increase the campaign expenditure of the candidates.  He said that the number of voters in Telangana is 3.17 crore.  There are 2,557 transgender voters and 7,600 voters above the age of 100 years.  He said women and men voters are equal in Telangana.  He said that those who are over 80 years old can vote from home.  Rajeev Kumar said that 35,356 polling stations are going to be set up. 

“We appeal to the people to exercise their right to vote in the upcoming Telangana elections.  The state of Telangana has great importance.  We are committed to conducting free and fair elections.  When we met with the political parties, we received many requests from them.  Appealed to ban illegal cash and liquor.  They asked to put micro-observers in urban areas.  Out of 119 segments,  88 are general, 12 are ST, and 19 are SC.  There are 4.43 lakh people above 80 years of age.  There is an address issue in Telangana state.  We have worked hard to increase the votes of youth and women, and we have succeeded.  For the first time in Telangana, we are setting up form 12D for the elderly to vote at home.  We are arranging special vehicles for disabled people.  In case of an illegal supply of cash and liquor, action will be taken within 100 minutes if a photo is posted on the Sea Whistle app.  Everyone should download the Voter Helpline app.  The Suvidha portal should be downloaded by every candidate, information can be obtained.  KYC stands for “Know Your Candidate” Criminal backgrounds can be checked,  total of 148 check posts have been set up at the Border. areas.  An illegal supply of cash and liquor will result in strict action.  EC monitors online money transfers.  Special surveillance at helipads and airports.  enforcement agencies have been directed to report once every week.  Every leader who receives accusations (complaints) must answer.   Advertisements – Violation of rules on social media will result in action.  Observers will perform duties from the center for free and fair elections. Meanwhile, the CEC team visited Hyderabad for three days.  The team examined the arrangements for the assembly elections.  Also, the CEC team met Telangana Chief Secretary and Director General of Police today.  It seems that the situation in the state and the conduct of elections were discussed.  The CEC team inquired about law and order in Telangana.  (Hydnow)
