Delhi/Hyderabad, Nov 24 (Hydnow): The Delhi High Court issued a notice to Hyderabad based businessman Abhishek Boinpally and communication strategist Vijay Nair on a plea moved by Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) against a trial court order granting bail to them in the Excise Police case. Justice Yogesh Khanna posted the matter to December 5 for further hearing.
It may be recalled that on November 14, the CBI Special Court granted bail to Abhishek Boinapalli and Vijay Nair, Challenging this, the CBI approached the Delhi High Court. However, on the same day, CBI arrested Abhishek Boinapalli and Vijay Nair for not cooperating with the investigation in the liquor scam case. Presently Abhishek and Vijay Nair are in ED custody.
