Hyderabad, Aug.22 (Hydnow): BIP State President K. Laxman on Thursday alleged that a massive scam took place in the power sector of the state. He said that an inquiry by a sitting judge would bring to fore the details of the scam. He alleged that the stage government had entered into an agreement to buy solar power for Rs.5.50 per unit by ignoring the offer of Rs.4.30 per unit by the union government under the national solar policy.
Addressing media Persons, he claimed that the reforms introduced by prime minister Narendra Modi had helped the state to supply 24 hour uninterrupted power to the people of the state. He said that the efforts of PM Modi had led to the generation of surplus power in 28 states of the country.(Hydnow)
