Hyderabad, Aug.10 (Hydnow): IT Minister K T Rama Rao today inaugurated a flyover at Byramalguda right side Flyover near Nagarjuna Sagar road here.
The GHMC built the flyover at a cost of Rs 26.45 crore as part of SRDP program to build roads, flowers, under passes in the city by GHMC to ease traffic problems. The minister along with Education Minister P. Sabitha Indira Reddy and Myaor B Rammohan started the flyover for public use.
On the occasion the minister said that the new facility will ease off the traffic problems on the routes.
KTR said that the new facility RHS Flyover was built under SRDP phase-II. we have spent Rs 26.45crore for this he said.
He hoped that the flyover will surely prove handy on the Srisailam highway, Sagar road and Owaisi junction.
After inauguration the ministers , GHMC Mayor visited photo gallery exhibited at the site.
A total of 14 works taken up by the civic body by an estimated cost of Rs 448 cr the minister said.
He also said that so far Rs 341 cr works are being grounded under SRDP program. KTR claimed that they have used special technology for the construction of the flyover.
He also said that they already started roads, flyovers, under passes at LB Nagar, Kamineni hospital, and Chintalkunta. A few more such works will be started for the public KTR said.
Yegge Mallesham, MLC ; Corporators Jitta Rajashekar Reddy, Ramavath Padmanaik, Sama Ramana Reddy, Mudraboina Srinivas Rao, Chief Engineer (Projects) Sreedhar, Zonal Commissioner Upender Reddy, Deputy Commissioner Vijayakrishna, SRDP S.E Ravilnder Raj, E.E.Rohini and others participated in the programme.
