Hyderabad, June 17 (Hydnow): Former MP Konda Vishweshwar Reddy today called on State Agriculture Minister S. Niranjan Reddy and submitted a representation to him urging the minister to solve the problems faced by the farmers from Ranga Reddy and Vikarabad districts.
He urged the minister to buy the paddy from the farmers at the earliest by giving necessary instructions to the officials concerned. He apprised the problems faced by the farmers at Tandur, Peddemul, Yalala , Doma, Kulkacharla, Bulkapur Sardar Nagar and Maheswaram paddy procurement centers.
He told the minister that the paddy that was kept at the procurement centers for the last one month had been germinated . He also told the minister that the farmers were suffering due to lack of Gunny bags and added that procurement Centers don’t have enough tarpaulin covers . (Hydnow)
