Hyderabad, Sept.13 (Hydnow): Union Minister of state for Home Affairs G. Kishan Reddy today urged the Chief Minister KCR to allot land for the establishment of Telangana Liberation Struggle inspiration Center in the state. He wrote a letter to the Chief Minister on the issue.
In his letter, he told the Chief Minister that the central government was ready to build the Center and added that Union Tourism Minister had promised him to sanction the funds for the same during his meeting. He claimed that it was also the desire of the people of the state to have the Center replete with the history of the fighters who took part in the Telangana liberation struggle.
He said that several leaders from the state like Komuram Bheem, PV Narasimha Rao, Ramanam Theertha, Marri Channa Reddy, Vandemataram Ramachandra Rao, Narayanarao Pawar, Dhoddi Komuraiah and Chakala Ailamma took part in the struggle. (Hydnow)
