Hyderabad, Feb 16 (Hydnow): BJP state President and Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy praised Ranji Gondu for fighting against the Nizam and Rajakars.
He said that there is a need to inform future generations of tribal cultural traditions. On Friday, he laid the foundation stone for the construction of a Tribal Museum named Ranji Gondu at Abids, Hyderabad. he has revealed that 10 Tribal Museums are being set up across the country. He explained that the construction work is going on in Andhra Pradesh as well.
“The establishment of a museum in Telangana was delayed due to the then KCR government. No matter how many letters I wrote to him, he did not respond. Very happy to lay the foundation stone today. A Central Tribal University is going to be established in Mulugu. The previous government caused problems by not giving land. We have allocated Rs. 900 crores for the tribal university in the first phase.
We started 17 Ekalavya schools in Telangana with Rs. 420 crores. The Central government has given Rs. 3 crores for the medaram jatara. We are also giving rights to Tribal lands. there is a need to work for their comprehensive development, he said. State Minister Sitakka participated in the program. (Hydnow)
