Hyderabad, Sept.15 (Hydnow): Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today informed the house that they will set right any difference in three months of power bills during corona pandemic.
During g shirt debate on centre’s power bill, Srisailam Power plant incident and others in the Assembly, he said that the government will not incur loss to the public. The power minister G Jagadish Reddy and members in the house talked of public ire and angst of hefty power bills in three months he said. I do not know of levying more bills than they are supposed to be, he said. If any such differences found we will give orders today itself to address the issue, the Chief minister said.
Earlier, leader of opposition Bhatti Vikramarka said that he got Rs 55,000 power bills during that period of three months. He also expressed concern on hefty power bills as many people got such bills against regular ones. He urged the Chief Minister to take a call and address the issue.
On this KCR has promised that such issues will be addressed at the earliest. I will direct the authorities to set right the problem and sort out power bills if paid more. The power bills are not counted and divided randomly for three months he said. If any more amount levied that will be removed, the Chief minister said. On this the house members welcomed KCR reply.
