KCR Emphasizes Achieving 33 Percent Green Cover In The State

KCR Banks On A 6% Last-Hour Voting 

Hyderabad, Sept. 11 (Hydnow): Considering the importance of preservation and the environment, the CM KCR-led Telangana government formulated action plans soon after the formation of the state, The results of the commitment and perseverance are being seen after a decade. 

Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has released a statement on the occasion of “Forest Martyr’s Day” today, The Chief Minister said that the efforts put by the state Forest Department in this direction are commendable. Let’s all work together till we achieve the target of 33 percent green cover in the Telangana state. At the same time, 22 officers and staff of the Forest Department lost their lives in the discharge of their duties. My heartfelt tributes to all those martyrs who performed their duties on a mission mode to save forests and their commitment is an inspiration to all of us. In order to keep, their aspirations alive, we all should accomplish the “Jungle Bachao – Jungle Badao”; slogan with utmost dedication. Everyone should take a pledge in this direction.  

The State Government’s ambitious program of Haritha Haram is yielding amazing results in restoring forests and increasing the green cover with the support of all sections of people. The city of Hyderabad clinched the World

Green City Award – 2022, presented by the International Association of Horticulture for improving green cover in the city which emerged as a concrete jungle with a lot of construction activity recently.
