Hyderabad, Nov 7 (Hydnow): A war of words is going on between the leaders during the Assembly elections in Telangana.
BRS MLC Kavitha countered the Telangana BJP Chief and Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy stating that not to spread myths on the power situation in Telangana. Kavitha said to Kishan Reddy on the Twitter platform, that if the peak demand for Telangana electricity is 15,500 MW, NTPC is supplying only 680 MW to Telangana. That means only four percent of the electricity consumed by Telangana comes from Peddapalli NTPC.
Kishan Reddy was advised not to spread lies that the central government is providing continuous electricity. He said that it was due to the efforts of Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao that Telangana’s electricity woes were over and KCR is credited with bringing the state from electricity deficit to surplus electricity in a very short time.
Earlier, Kishan Reddy commented on the Twitter platform that the Modi government is continuously supplying electricity to Telangana by setting up an NTPC power station in Peddapally, with this, Kavitha countered his comments. (Hydnow)
