Hyderabad: The Department of Physics and the Department of Mathematics, Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) are jointly organizing a four-day International Workshop on Astronomy Data Analysis with Python (ADAP23) from September 5 to 8, 2023. The workshop is funded by The Inter-University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics (IUCAA), Pune.
According to Dr Priya Hasan, Department of Physics & workshop convenor, Prof Syed Ainul Hasan, Vice-Chancellor will be the Chief Guest of the inaugural to be held on September 05, 9.30 a.m. at Saiyid Hamid Library Auditorium. Margarita Safonova, Indian Institute of Astro Physics, Bangalore will deliver the inaugural. Prof. Salman Ahmad Khan, Dean, of the School of Sciences will also address this. Prof. Syed Najamul Hasan, Department of Mathematics is the co-convenor.
Talks and hands-on sessions will be held by speakers from the National Center of Radio Astrophysics, Pune, IUCAA, Pune, Indian Institute of Astrophysics, Bangalore, St Stefan’s College, New Delhi, Ohio State University, USA, and MANUU, Hyderabad.
The meeting will be in hybrid mode and all talks will be live-streamed and available online.
