New York/Hyderabad, July 15 (Hydnow): State BJP president G. Kishan Reddy said that even if the people of India leave their motherland for jobs, expatriate Indians are standing by the country’s development.

Kishan Reddy spoke at a meeting organized by the Consul General of India in New York. He said that along with the national youth, the role played by diaspora Indians is very important in the process of India growing as the world’s pharmaceutical capital and factory of the world.

He said that if the whole world is caught in the impact of economic recession, India is moving forward with steady development. The reason for this is the policies followed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government. He said that India, which is the fifth largest economy in the world, receives foreign investments of 3 billion dollars every year.

Foreign exchange reserves have crossed 600 billion dollars. Exports due to “Make in India” and “Aatmanirbhar Bharat, it is said that is has crossed 500 crores. he said that the world’s largest startup ecosystem has been established in the country. He said that India is moving forward with the aim of making this decade a “Tech Decade” by giving production-based incentives in 14 key sectors.

Kishan Reddy called upon every expatriate Indian to encourage at least five non-Indian friends to visit our country. they should be encouraged to invest. In the next 25 years, the diaspora should also be involved in making the country a global leader.

Kishan Reddy recalled the occasion when he toured with today’s Prime Minster Modi as a young politician in 1994. He mentioned the issue of standing in front of the White House and taking a photo.
