Hyderabad, Sept.19 (Hydnow): DGP M. Mahender Reddy today said that the immersion of the Khairatabad ganesh idol was held in a peaceful manner.
He said that he was constantly monitoring the immersion program from his office and added that the police department was working in close Coordination of all line departments of the state.
He said that the supervision of the program at all important areas had been done by the important officials of the department and added that all the CC TV cameras had been linked with the nearby police stations for proper surveillance.

He said that they had allowed the immersion of the idols of less than 10 feet height on NTR Marg and PV marg and the idols of more than 10 feet height had been immersed at tank bund.
