Hyderabad, June 19 (Hydnow): Former minister Eatala Rajender today said that he had maintained close relationships with BJP leaders since his association with separate Telangana movement. He recalled that he had shared several platforms with the BJP leader Sushma Swaraj during the movement. He also recalled that he had worked with veteran BJP leader like Bandaru Dattatreya in Telangana JAC.
Speaking to media persons at Huzurabad , he made it clear that the BJP was not a new party to him and added that all the BJP leaders were his old friends. He said that the developments that took place during the last two to three months were not the main reasons for his exit from the ruling TRS party but the public problems that he raised during his several meetings were the main reason behind his exit. He said that the ruling party leaders did not like the frequent raising of the public problems . Citing that workers are the main strength of ah political party, He said that the hard work of the workers would ensure the victory of any leader from the post of Sarpanch to MP.
He said that the people of Huzurabad did not have any issue with the flag of any political party and added that they were happy and breathing fresh air after his exit from the TRS party. Making it clear to the officials of the state government that they should work within the limits of law, He alleged that some officials were going to the houses of the BJP leaders and harassing them. He warned the officials that they would not keep if their harassment continued in his constituency. (Hydnow)
