Hyderabad, Oct.12 (Hydnow): Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar inaugurated a Mega vaccination centre at Khajaguda GHMC sports complex, Gachibowli today.
Speaking on this occasion, Chief Secretary said that 2.80 crore people were vaccinated till today in the state, out of which 2.02 crore till their first dose.
Every day nearly 3 to 4 lakh people are getting vaccinated across the state.
Special vaccination drives are also taken up in the districts.
The Mega vaccinated centre organised with the support of CARE INDIA organization, which will provide vaccination from 7.00AM to 11.00PM. Special counters are also arranged for women and aged persons.
Covaxin and Covishield both vaccines will available in the Centre, Similar Mega vaccination centres will be arranged in 6 more places in the city, the Chief Secretary added.
The Chief Secretary said that as per the directions of Chief Minister to provide better health facilities to the people of Hyderabad, the Government is setting up 4 Super Specialty Hospitals around the city the designs are prepared.
NIMS hospital will be developed as Multi Specialty Hospital with International standards.
S.A.M. Rizvi, Secretary, Health, Amoy Kumar, Ranga Reddy District Collector, Dr.Srinivas Rao, Director Public Health, Dr. Ramesh Reddy, Director Medical Education, Dr.Gangadhar, OSD to CM, Ravi Kiran, GHMC Zonal Commissioner participated in the programme. (Hydnow)
