Hyderabad: The Rachakonda police raided a resort at Keesara and caught six persons who were found gambling. The police seized Rs. 65,610 cash, five mobile phones and playing cards from them.
Acting on a tip off, a team of Rachakonda SOT raided the Rustic Vougue Resort at Yadgarpalli in Keesara around 1 a.m and found persons playing three cards game and gambling.
“One Manohar Reddy Sanga Reddy of Kapra invited his friends and they were gambling when the raid was conducted,” the SOT officials maintained.
The police also arrested the supervisor of the resort for allowing the illegal activity in the premises.
All the persons were handed over to Keesara police station for further action. A case under TS Gaming Act is booked and investigation going on.
