Hyderabad: Hyderabad’s popular Nehru Zoological Park was inundated with floodwater and all animals are safe in their respective enclosures.
According to the reports, heavy inflow came from the Mir Alam Tank which was filled due to heavy rains.
The heavy inflow into the zoo from the safari area. The officials inspected the Mir Alam Tank and monitored the situation.
The floodwater was drained out with diesel engines and trees and debris were removed by the zoo staff manually.
It is known that Hyderabad received heavy rains due to the Gulab cyclone effect and inundated many low-lying areas.
