Hyderabad: City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar distributed 100 kits including food and essentials to transgender persons at the Savera function Halls in Yousufguda check-post here on Wednesday.
The kits include ration items, mask and sanitizers.
Speaking to the media, Anjani Kumar said the transgender community was also a part of the society.

“We have provided a package of essentials to them for survival. I am happy that they too are following social distancing,” Anjani Kumar said.
AR Srinivas, Joint Commissioner of Police and DCP, West Zone, and other senior officers were present.
