Hyderabad, Sept. 8 (Hydnow): Kalpana Vishwas, Chairman, Taraporewallas Montessori & High School, Hyderabad here on wednesday visited Nehru Zoological Park, Hyderabad and showned great gesture by adopting a Malabar Pied Horn bill for a period of one year and presented a cheque of Rs. 30,000/- towards the adoption of a Malabar Pied Horn Bill to Ms. V.V.L. Subhadra Devi, CuratorNehru Zoological Park, Hyderabad. This adoption was made in commemoration of her husband’s death anniversary falling on 11th September (Forest Martyrs Day).

Later Kalpana Vishwas visited the entire Zoo and expressed happiness and satisfaction over the Zoo maintenance. She appreciated the Zoo Management & Staff for maintaining a green and clean Zoo.

She thanked the Zoo Curator for giving an opportunity to help the Zoo in achievement of its mission in Ex-situ Conservation of Wildlife.

Speaking on the occasion Ms. V.V.L. Subhadra Devi, Curator, Nehru Zoological Park, Hyderabad thanked Smt. Kalpana Vishwas, Chairman, Taraporewallas Montessori & High School, Hyderabad for adopting a “Malabar Pied Horn Bill”. She also requested her to encourage her staff, students and their parents to come forward in adoption of animals or donations to improve animal collection and infrastructure. (Hydnow)
