Hyderabad CP Holds High-Level Crime Review

Hyderabad: Hyderabad City Police Commissioner, CV Anand, held a high-level crime review meeting with all ACP and above-rank officers at TSPICCC in Hyderabad.

The meeting covered a range of issues, including the review of pending crimes, detection of property offenses, investigation of sensational cases, and charge sheets.

In the review meeting, the Commissioner emphasized the importance of concerted efforts between clues teams and investigative teams to ensure detection, conviction, and prevention. Discussions also focused on resolving grievances related to cyber crimes and narcotics, capacity building at police stations, and quality investigations. The meeting also touched on the reorganization of Hyderabad City Police, the expansion of CCTV networks, and the operationalization of D-CAMO. Leveraging IT and data analytics, the “Fitcop” initiative progressed in monitoring and improving the health of police personnel.

Apart from Crime Detection and Capacity building, it has been discussed on administrative issues, HCSC activities, E-office, patrol and blue colt performance, and the effective functioning of the night round system. D-CAMO (Drones & Cameras Maintenance Organisation) is now operational and the expansion of the CCTV network was discussed, the training initiatives, and optimizing human resources in CAR were widely deliberated.

Addl. CP Traffic apprised the meeting on the status of Cantonment roads, special drive against illegal sirens, procuring modern gadgets, and summer measures for field-level personnel.
