Hyderabad, Sept 19 (Hydnow): The High Court of Telangana has directed Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao’s government to submit a comprehensive report on the incidents of food poisoning in Telangana Residential Schools where the students from the poor families of SC, ST, BC, and Minorities are studying.
The High Court has taken up a hearing into food poisoning cases in Telangana residential schools today, The petition lawyer Chikudu Prabhakar argued that the Telangana government is not following the rules of free, compulsory, and right to education, he said that the children belonging to the SC, ST, BC and Minorities have the right to live. The petitioner told the court that due to a lack of quality food, students are suffering in residential schools and hostels. without clean water, a kitchen, and toilets, the students are suffering from stomach aches, headaches,s and high fever.
The High Court directed the State government to submit a comprehensive report and adjourned the hearing to October 6. (Hydnow)
