Hyderabad: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) today predicted moderate to heavy rains are likely to occur in the state for the next 5 days starting from Sunday.
The weather department has provided some much-needed relief to the people suffering from the scorching heatwave that has been gripping the state for the last few days.
It has been announced that the temperature will gradually decrease and the weather will cool down starting from the third of June.

Meteorological Department officials have also stated that the Monsoon hit Kerala on the 30th and is expected to reach our state on June 5th and 6th.
In the past two days, the temperature has been soaring, with recordings showing temperatures as high as 44 degrees. However, relief is on its way as there is a possibility of thunder and lightning rains in some districts on Saturday evening.
