Hyderabad, July 20 (Hydnow): In the background of heavy rains in Telangana, Chief Secretary Shanti Kumari conducted a review with the officials. She said that there is a possibility of heavy rains in some districts in the next 48 hours. collectors of all departments along with District Collectors have been ordered to be vigilant.
She said NDRF teams have been kept ready to help in emergency situations, and NDRF teams are kept in Warangal, Mulugu, and Kothagudem.
The Chief Secretary said that a team of 40 personnel is kept ready in Hyderabad, 426 Monsoon emergency teams, and 157 static teams are ready in Hyderabad. She said that special personnel have been deployed at 339 water storage areas and till now nothing has happened to the ponds.
Precautionary measures should be taken to prevent the spread of seasonal diseases and chlorination should be carried out in all fresh water tanks. (Hydnow)
